DK3 Venice Beach Veterans Championships

Soul of the Game is coming to Venice Beach, CA on October 12-13, 2019. The first outdoor 3x3 wheelchair basketball tournament honoring our veterans and first responders on the 70th anniversary of the wheelchair basketball sport in California. We are less than a month away from this historic event. If you are or know anyone who's a veteran or a first responder, please register.  

On October 12-13th, 2019 we will be taking down the Venice Beach Basketball Courts for a 3x3 wheelchair basketball championship among our nation's veterans and first responders. All throughout the day, there will be music and refreshments available to our spectators. If you are a participant or an honored guest, you are invited to join us for a BBQ Dinner on the beach on Saturday evening, between 5-7pm. 

On Sunday, we are offering a community wheelchair basketball clinic, presented by our friends at Angel City Sports. Paralympic athletes will be coaching and teaching cricitial skills to anyone who wants to play wheelchair basketball. Photo ops available with Paralympians to all participants. Sunday, between 10 am- 2 pm we will have semi-finals and championship games. Awards will be presented to winners during the Closing Ceremony with speeches from the Mayor's Office.
